Celebrity Shopping -- Oscar Weekend at Fred Segal

I know we all watch the Oscars for the same reason -- to see who's wearing what and if they look fabulous on the red carpet or not. For a jewelry and fashion fan like myself its always a lot of fun. But as fabulous as these leading ladies look on screen they look even better in person. This past weekend we had many of Hollywood's glamour girls in for a little pre-Oscar shopping. Nicole Kidman came in with her hubby Keith Urban and stopped by our new store. With her dramatic height she looked great in everything she tried -- especially the jeans she picked up: the "Hunter Boyfriend" style from Raven ($209) and the "Logan Jeans" from James Jeans ($189). In addition to Nicole, Kate Capshaw dropped by with her daughter to pick up a really cute jumpsuit, "Halter jumpsuit" by Collective Concepts ($110) and Keri Russel walked out with a great light denim top from Tylho $167. They all looked really fresh and sparkling -- without all the gowns and diamonds -- choosing the very sexy sportswear that is so perfect for everyday. Valntines Day, A New Store, More Excitment!!

Hi everybody, things have been crazy around here at Fred Segal. Its been very exciting as we have opened a brand new clothing section at 500 Broadway -- right next to our existing accessory and jewelry stores. We've got a really fresh and fun assortment of clothing, from M Missoni, Q by Alexander McQueen, a brand new denim line, Denim Addict and a lot of fun contemporary clothes from lines like Young Fabulous and Broke and Collective Concepts.
